Coalition for a Safe & Healthy Connecticut

The Coalition for a Safe & Healthy Connecticut works to increase awareness regarding the toxic consituents in cleaning chemicals and advocates for improved testing and the use of safer alternatives.





Connecticut Immunization Coalition

The Connecticut Immunization Coalition is dedicated to the promotion of influenza and pneumococcal vaccinations for the protection from illness or complications from influenza and invasive pneumococcal disease. Members of the coalition include representatives from: local and state government, visiting nurse and home care agencies, insurance providers, health care providers, CPHA, the CT Lung Association; CT Medical Association; UCONN Health Center; Pharmaceutical Companies, Hospitals, Long Term Care Facilities and Maxim Health Care Corporation.

Connecticut Against Gun Violence


The mission of Connecticut Against Gun Violence is to identify, develop, and promote passage of legislation designed to enhance gun safety. CAGV will pursue this mission at the local, state of Connecticut, and national levels through the political process.

National Ground Water Association

 The National Ground Water Association is the hallmark organization for anyone affiliated with the groundwater industry. A nonprofit organization, NGWA is composed of U.S. and international groundwater professionals — contractors, scientists and engineers, equipment manufacturers, and suppliers. Our purpose is to provide guidance to members, government representatives, and the public for sound scientific, economic, and beneficial development, protection, and management of the world's groundwater resources.

Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood

CCFC’s mission is to support parents’ efforts to raise healthy families by limiting commercial access to children and ending the exploitive practice of child-targeted marketing. In working for the rights of children to grow up—and the freedom of parents to raise them—without being undermined by corporate interests, CCFC promotes a more democratic and sustainable world.
