Department of Allied Health Sciences at the University of Connecticut invites applications for a tenure-track faculty member (60% research, 40% teaching) inHealth Disparities Research at the rank of Assistant Professor with an expected start date of August 23, 2019. We invite candidates from a broad range of academic disciplines and research areas to apply. The successful candidate will have expertise and research experience that addresses disparities in health outcomes for any group who has historically experienced barriers to achieving health and well-being due to their race or ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, disability, geographic location, or other characteristics linked to discrimination or exclusion. Candidates’ research may examine any of various topics in health and healthcare, social determinants, behavioral health or other related content areas.
