In 2018, Connecticut placed 3rd in 50 states for its overall health, according to  America’s Health Rankings, outranked only by Hawaii (#1) and Massachusetts (#2).  Step challenges, walking meetings, and walking with others foster mental and physical health and productivity, with fewer days lost to illness. At CPHA our long-term goal is for our state to be #1.

Join us…Take 3 simple steps:

1.     Recruit a Step Challenge Team,  select a captain and walk with others to support mental as well as physical health. Get healthy, get happy.

2.     Register your Step Challenge Team starting today.  Find answers to Frequently Asked Questions and start moving and reporting steps by February 22nd to earn the best score.  Use a Fitbit, phone, pedometer or a step converter 2to get credit for all your activity.   Remember the bigger the team, the easier to score more steps.

3.     Earn recognition and prizes for your team and your organization by…

·       Being one of the three top teams for total steps logged, by April 3rd.

·       For outstanding  mentorship with our nationally recognized Move and Mentor program. Contact CPHA Mentors on Request (MOR) to learn more.

·       For sharing your story: Post a brief video or essay about your experience.

The event is free…

Contributions to CPHA of any size are appreciated.  They make our internships and educational programs possible.
